Who we are

Empathic, warm, and highly capable, the incredible staff at STAR of CA is what really makes us shine. We're committed to the professional development of our staff and quality assurance in our service delivery. We implement a supervision model that ensures there is oversight of all clinical staff, and that you have access to our multi-disciplinary team to address concerns and needs that arise across time. The clinical staff described below represents the exceptional people from STAR of CA who will be working with you and your child:

Clinical Managers

STAR of CA Clinical Managers directly supervise your child's program supervisor and are responsible for coordinating your child's program hand-in hand with you, STAR of CA clinical staff, and others who participate in your child's treatment. Our managers possess a master's or doctoral degree and certification in behavior analysis (BCBA).

Program Supervisors

STAR of CA Program Supervisors conduct weekly field supervision visits and office supervision to develop and manage intervention programs. Our supervisors' possess a master's degree, or are working toward completion of a master's degree in psychology or a related field. They are also expected to have obtained or be in pursuit of board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA, BCaBA).

Behavioral Therapists

STAR of CA Behavioral Therapists provide one-on-one treatment in the field. Our therapists have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field and have experience and ongoing training in child development, autism, and Applied Behavior Analysis.

Mental Health Professionals

Mental Health Professionals are available to provide parent education, consultation, and counseling support to families in need. Our mental health professionals include mental health interns, marriage and family therapists, licensed clinical social workers, and licensed psychologists.

Occupational Therapists

Occupational Therapists are available to provide direct intervention and case consultation for children with specific motor and sensory needs.
